What is it?
What is the ONE song that holds the most meaning for you? This playlist is a community compilation of our collective “one last song” that you want to be played at your funeral. Take a moment to reflect, scroll through your favorite albums, and head to Spotify to add your song. This playlist will live on forever, and we’ll spend two weeks compiling songs and inviting people to join the memento mori practice.
Why did you create it?
The culmination of The Adventures of Memento Mori is a lived practice. Planning for the end of your life can feel dreary, but it is an essential building block of the memento mori practice. The Epic Funeral Playlist gives the community an opportunity to appreciate the songs that give us life as we celebrate death.
Can I add songs to the playlist?
Yes! This is a communal effort, so please add songs and share the playlist with others. Here is how to do it:
Go to the Epic Funeral Playlist
Follow the playlist by clicking the Heart Icon
Search for the song you love
Hover over the right side three-dot (...) menu of the track and select “Add to playlist”
